2008 is the year when fashion designer Pablo Cabahug started his own atelier specializing in men’s and women’s formal wear and eventually ventured into doing corporate uniform. Known for his body-conscious and tailored pieces, Pablo wants his clothes to be fashionable but not trendy. His local fashion influence is senior designer Randy Ortiz, whom he apprenticed for 8 years. Truly a talented designer, As his prize in one of the shows he joined, he was sent to London to study at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, where he finished a course in Fashion Design and Marketing.
He was also one of the GLOBAL PINOY awardees by the SM Malls. Pablo was likewise invited to showcase his Ice Skater collection and From then on, Pablo has become one of the featured designers of Philippine Fashion Week. Pablo won the LOOK OF STYLE – Young Designer of the Year Award 2010, a competition sponsored by the British Council of the Philippines, Inquirer, Samsung, and Look Magazine where he was so grateful for the education he received. When the organizers of the Asia Leaders Awards were looking for fashionable yet quality PPEs during the 2020 Asia Leaders Awards, Pablo’s designs were a winner and the whole team wore his pieces in Makati Shangrila.
