Filipino Skincare Brand Pure Culture Recognized Among Top Beauty Brands Worldwide at 2024 THINK CLEAN ™ Awards

Pure Culture, the frontrunner in sustainable clean beauty in the Philippines, is thrilled to announce its Bronze Award win for Wild Algae Super Skin Tonic at the 2024 THINK CLEAN ™ sustainable beauty award hosted by the Australian-based magazine, Clean Beauty. This recognition places the only Filipino-owned brand among the top nine most sustainable, inspiring, and innovative beauty brands globally.

The 2024 Think Clean Awards saw over 65 brands from around the world compete, with only nine brands receiving honors. Pure Culture’s achievement underscores its commitment to a safer Earth through its innovative practices and by creating products that prioritize the well-being of both consumers and the planet.

“We are incredibly humbled and honored to be recognized among such a distinguished group of global brands,” said Alex Gentry, co-founder and chief innovator of Pure Culture.

The winning Wild Algae Superskin Tonic 2.0 is best for oily and acne-prone skin. It is a state-of-the-art multi-use, anti-bacterial and calming tonic with MicroSilver that gives a lit-from-within glow. This improved, award-winning formula offers a lighter, more refreshing feel on the skin. It’s also now completely unscented, free from any added essential oils for scent purposes. To top it all off, it includes prebiotic Saccharide Isomerate (better known as Pentavitin), which helps create a long-lasting moisture barrier that keeps your skin hydrated for up to 72 hours.

For the past seven years, Clean Beauty’s Organic Beauty Award has celebrated brands that excel in creating clean, green, and effective beauty products. Their rigorous selection process evaluates the sustainability, safety, and efficacy of products, ensuring that only the best in organic beauty are acknowledged. According to their Instagram post, “This year we introduced the plastic-free preference and entry into the awards by invitation only. This has greatly reduced waste by more than 50% compared to previous awards we have hosted. By reviewing brands before entry, we eliminated unnecessary waste and raised the standards of entry based on quality ingredients, sustainable packaging, and brands that give back to the global community.”

Pure Culture has been at the forefront of the sustainable beauty movement in the country, championing practices such as eco-friendly packaging, ethically sourced ingredients, and transparent manufacturing processes. This award further solidifies the brand’s positioning as the next-gen self-care leader in the country, dedicated to fostering a healthier planet and promoting conscious consumerism.
