When you have a famous last name, is there anything you haven’t achieved yet? For Camila Lhuillier, the daughter of Philippe Jones Lhuillier who is a Filipino diplomat, businessman and philanthropist, and the current Philippine ambassador to Spain. From 1999 to 2010, he was the ambassador to Italy and the chairman of the Philippines’ largest pawnshop chain, Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop, still grateful for all challenges and success. 

On her social media account, she posted—

“Going into 2023 with the highest intentions and the manifestation of a glorious year ahead. 2022 marked a very turbulent year, filled with the lowest of lows and then the highest of highs. In the end, the good always outweighed the bad and I was there for each and every moment present and aware; and it was at times amazing and at times, the hardest thing to bear.”

This year, Camila is hoping to conquer some fears, grow with her partner Andrea Albani and grow within herself to become a better person. 

“I fought some demons and came out on top friends and family held my hand along the way and made sure I made it.. scratched up, but resilient.”

She will never forget this year as the year that made her strong.
