From Manila to Asia: Filipino Flavors Took Center Stage on the Global Platform
Building on the strong momentum of the 18th Philippine Food Expo (PFE) 2026, the celebration of Filipino food innovation moved beyond Manila and onto the international stage, as local brands prepared to showcase their products in key trade exhibitions across Asia.
Recognized as the country’s leading all-Filipino food trade show, PFE continued to serve as a springboard for businesses aiming to expand globally. In 2026, this mission gained greater traction as exhibitors and industry partners set their sights on participating in THAIFEX – Anuga Asia and Anuga Select India, two of the region’s most prominent food and beverage trade events.
The initiative was led by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization (PHILFOODEX) Inc., which served as the official host of the Philippine Pavilion, in collaboration with Cut Unlimited Inc. as pavilion manager. Together, they organized a unified and competitive showcase that highlighted the Philippines’ export-ready food products and emerging brands.

Through these international pavilions, developed alongside key stakeholders, Filipino companies were able to connect with global buyers, distributors, and industry leaders. The initiative not only expanded market opportunities but also reinforced the country’s growing presence in the international food trade landscape.
At THAIFEX – Anuga Asia in Bangkok, Filipino exhibitors stood alongside top global brands, gaining exposure to Southeast Asia’s dynamic and fast-growing market. Meanwhile, participation in Anuga Select India opened doors to South Asia, offering access to a vast and rapidly evolving consumer base.

These global engagements reflected the broader vision of PFE, going beyond a domestic showcase to become a platform for export growth and international competitiveness. Supported by industry organizations and government agencies, the effort underscored the Philippines’ commitment to promoting high-quality food products on a global scale.
From processed goods and innovative food concepts to agricultural specialties, Filipino exhibitors presented a rich and diverse culinary identity defined by heritage, craftsmanship, and creativity, qualities that resonated strongly with international audiences.

As PFE 2026 brought together key players in the food industry, it also paved the way for Filipino brands to expand their footprint across borders. The transition from Manila to major Asian markets marked an important milestone, highlighting the country’s readiness to compete and thrive globally.
With these developments, the message became increasingly clear: Filipino flavors had stepped confidently onto the world stage.
