On November 15, 2024, at The Theatre, Solaire  – TEDx held its first-of-its-kind event in the Philippines in partnership with UP Visayas Women (TEDxUPV Women), featuring a lineup of Influential figures from different Industries. The event marked its first TEDx Conference in the region focusing on technology with three core themes: Lifestyle, Leadership, and Legacy. 

Rising Tigers Magazine CMO Andria Terese Nicolas is one of the headlining speakers on the leadership theme. She talked about the purpose of Rising Tigers Magazines’ contribution to nation-building by sharing the stories of the country’s leaders and the Power of Storytelling. 

“Fairytales are there not to make kids imagine and believe in the impossible, but to create a foundation of hope and most importantly find purpose at a young age. Imagine what impact we can bring if we tell true stories of heroes.”  

After teaching the audience her three ways to inspire a nation, at the end of the talk, she left them with two questions.

“Why should your story be heard? What change do you want to bring?” 

Other headlining speakers are notable Industry Figures like Jade Bonacolta, Head of North America Marketing at Google and LinkedIn Influencer known for her platform The Quiet Rich; Nikki Huang, a writer and content creator; Lotis Ramin, Country Manager at AstraZeneca, with extensive experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical leadership; Belle Rodolfo, a beauty editor and content creator in fashion and lifestyle Industries; and Dr. Fabi Carino, an HR Professional who celebrated her contributions to organizational development. 

This event marks the first speaking engagement of Rising Tigers Magazine as they stepped into the International Conference Stage of TEDx.
