Rising Tigers Ball 2024: Leaders with Power and Purpose

Oct 30, 2024 – Rising Tigers Ball was held at the prestigious Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Tycoons, Ambassadors, Government Officials and Partners all showed support to the annual Charity Ball of the leading Business and Leadership Magazine in the Philippines, Rising Tigers Magazine.

The event started with the Opening Remarks by the Rising Tigers CMO Andria Terese Nicolas.

“We live in a world full of authority and power, but remember that the most impactful leaders in our history are those who serve with grace and empathy. The power of humility is beyond comparison to all leadership qualities, because it reminds us of our purpose, and purpose is not selfish. People don’t get that power from their position but from their ability to connect to people in a human level. Just like Rising Tigers, we want to connect everyone in our reach to inspire, contribute, and believe in our shared vision for nation building.”

“As we are deemed leaders of our nation, let us strive to embrace humility as our guiding principle and lead with our hearts, and build a legacy of leadership that our country and the next generation will be so proud of. Keynote Speaker is the Ambassador of Japan, H.E Endo Kazuya as he highlighted the Embassy’s support and gratitude.

“ I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Rising Tigers Board for the award. While only recently i taken up my post as the ambassador of japan to the philippines i am deeply humbled to be recognized by your esteemed publication. The longstanding friendship between our two nations based on mutual respect and shared values has been achieved by tireless efforts by my predecessors, fellow colleague, and friends from both of our countries, I just feel quite privileged to witness how our relationship continuos to flourish in the past months so far. Reflecting on my journey one that marks a personal milestone for myself as this is my fist post as an ambassador.”

“With the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations coming up in 2026, we believe that we already come so far and that itself in it is a testament to our dedication and to our commitment but there is still so much we need to do. As a Filipino saying goes Malayo pa pero malayo na, let us embrace the unwavering spirit of our friendship and build a brighter future.”
