Watsons Philippines will be hailed as the best in retail and campaigns at The Manila Times “Global Excellence Awards”

As Asia’s No.1 health and beauty retailer, Watsons Philippines celebrated recently an important milestone as it opens its 1,000th store in the Philippines, adding to a total of 8,000 Watsons stores across 15 markets in Asia and Eastern Europe.

An overwhelming target with a goal to add more in the coming months, The new store opening coincides with Watsons’ 20th anniversary in the Philippines, one of its fastest-growing markets.

The accessibility and partnership with the biggest market in the country, Watsons Dominic Lai, Group Managing Director of A.S. Watson Group, officiates at the store opening of the biggest store in the country.

The Manila Times “Global Excellence Awards” will recognize 15 leaders in this generation that include categories like Company of the Year, Women of Substance, and Men of the Year. Watsons will receive “Company of the Year: Retail and Campaigns” for their strength in retail and the campaigns that won multiple awards already across the region that made an impact in the lives of the people.

Among the company of the year includes Shawarma Shack with more than 750 branches nationwide and Acer Philippines for their innovation in technology.

Expected to attend also are from the Diplomatic Corps that includes the Ambassadors from Israel, Poland, Romania, and Turkey.

The objective of the event is to highlight the leaders of this generation, to inspire the people, and to be emulated with their best practices all throughout the nation.
