Rising Tiger—Brian Poe Llamanzares
Brian Poe Llamanzares, Ph.D. is an award-winning journalist, entrepreneur, investor, and public servant from the Philippines.
Before serving in his current position as Chief of Staff, he completed different programs in Wharton, Stanford University, MIT, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and even attended the Conference Diplomacy and Multilateral Negotiations Program at the United Nations in Geneva. He continued his educational expedition by completing his master’s program in Climate and Society at Columbia University in New York.

Always one of the youngest in his field, Brian has notably been awarded by Lifestyle Asia the Power Millennial Award for Entrepreneurship in 2018 and recognized by People Asia Magazine as one of their “Men Who Matter” in 2020 for his contributions to public service as the youngest Chief of Staff in the Philippine Senate at the time. His work and numerous achievements in entrepreneurship and public service also served as the basis for his first international award for youth leadership which he received in Kathmandu, Nepal.
A true jack-of-all-trades, his current business portfolio boasts of multiple ventures in a diverse set of industries ranging from but not limited to fine art, retail, media, esports, property management, private security, NFTs, and most recently, mental health. Brian was also welcomed by the Blockchain Council of the Philippines to their list of members who will collaborate to make the Philippines “the blockchain capital of Asia”.
Most notably, he is currently the founder and CEO of Time Master Watches, a proudly Filipino lifestyle brand that offers quality timepieces. He is also Co-founder of Unit256, an art tech enterprise that aims to make Philippine Arts accessible while aiding institutions in art preservation with a collection spanning from masterpieces of National Artists to the young and thriving contemporary artists. Additionally, he serves as Lead Investor in A-3 Group of Companies which handles PR, content creation, digital marketing, and digital/physical event production, as well as founder of Oracle Media Group, and Managing Director of A-Team 360 Reputation Management Services.
Brian is also forging a career as a race car driver driving for PartsPro under the banner of luxury lifestyle apparel and sporting company Porsche Design, and was also awarded “Rookie of the Year” and finished third with great pride at the SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines that was concluded on October this year.
He now serves as the incumbent Senator Grace Poe’s Chief of Staff whom he also served as campaign manager for during the 2019 election helping her get re-elected with over 22 million votes. He has since taken on a bigger role as Chairman of the Ang Panday Bayanihan Foundation, which was built to serve the Filipino community in times of crisis.
Recently, Brian completed his Ph.D. in Public Administration at the University of Perpetual Help in order to gain the knowledge needed to serve the country to the best of his ability. As a testament to this, Brian recently completed his book called “A Sustainable Future” to help Filipinos plan ahead for the battle against climate change.
