Carel W International Corporation is a company based in Manila, Seoul, Taiwan and Los Angeles. We aim to provide the most authentic skincare solution to all and to spread awareness of self-care. We create top tier K-Beauty skincare brands and electronics, as well as bring in trending K-beauty boxes from Korea every season. Currently, we have beauty fridges and K-beauty boxes that are distributed throughout Asia, as well as manufacturing a K-Beauty skincare line in Seoul and Los Angeles. Our company vision is to build the most-loved and most-trusted K-Beauty brands, and our mission is to create a welcoming and quality K-beauty shopping experience, where everyone can rely on to build their own K-beauty journey.

Carel Tan, the founder & CEO, graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor of Architecture. She also studied at Harvard University, the Graduate School of Design (GSD), with a Concentration in Architecture. After graduating, she worked at JERDE, a top architectural firm in Los Angeles, and eventually became the Consultant of the Jerde Partnership, Singapore.

In 2020, she launched Carel W International Corporation. Carel W International Corporation officially signed the contract with Dr. Elton See Tan, Chairman, President & CEO of The E-Hotels, Resorts & Residences Suites the exclusive rights of YesCarel at The E-Hotel Makati.

As an architectural designer with a travel-heavy lifestyle, She has found that no matter where you are, architecture finds life in its people. Reflecting those who create, occupy, and even those who view them, buildings can be so much more than their functions.

When human design finds harmony in function, that is when a simple structure becomes vibrant, a place of comfort and belonging. The same applies even more simply to beauty and self-care. Carel W operates around the core philosophy that rather than covering up who we are, beauty comes from accentuating it.

Her story began with our Miss Korea beauty icon, Mrs. Carolyn Lee Tan.

Being at the front lines of this industry, having participated in and contributed to countless fashion-related beauty and cultural events in the Philippines, she always had access and information to the secrets of self-care. By staying up to date with the latest trends and challenging herself daily, she has accumulated the experience and know-how that is essential to maintain her healthy and beautiful lifestyle. Therefore, her spotlight will never fade.

Growing up as her daughter, Carel bore witness to this extravagant and glamorous scene. With her background as an architectural designer, she was able to compare and formulate a structure for true beauty. Design and beauty follow a simple rule: they must be achieved by taking the right steps. Instead of covering up our differences, that make us who we are, we need to accentuate them and understand how to utilize our foundation, to build ourselves better.
